Used the bench press, put a plate on each side (even if you just start with Barbie plate, that’s okay, but you need that plate to keep the resistance band handle in place, so I sandwiched the resistance band handles between two 10lb plates and then added the clips. Not tonnage, but at 5 sets of 20 reps, my legs and glutes were toasted. For the last year and a half I haven't followed any real #workout plan. I mean, I followed a workout split but no plan. Generally I would walk into the #gym , hit my compound moves first, track the weight lifted and then do random accessory work..The past 6 weeks have been different. I've been following my own plan written by ME for me. I love learning and this was mainly to see if following an exact plan would make any difference in #strength and #hypertrophy . .I also pulled back the weight and focused on higher reps and time under tension. I had been predominantly strength training in the lower rep rages for the past 6 months. .The outcome has been good! I've hit new record weights every workout.
