When you blink and it's been 2 years since the very first workout of new health journey. Two years since I texted @beckyellison_ to say "I'm in" - frustrated, unhappy and ready for a change. A lot has happened in the last 2 years and a lot will happen in the next few years. For now, I'll simply toast to the tough choices that breed big changes.

(Yeah we’re getting real today.) That girl who was her own worst enemy and yet her own one true friend? That girl that could NEVER say no?...NEITHER DO I. Couple of things this morning...1. Throwwwwback soundtracks are my jam!.2. Are you allowed to wear a Hakuna Masquata shirt while doing an upset body workout?.3. Happy dance time! I’m back in my skinny scrubs!!! 😍...Big kid pants are the worst, I basically live in sweatpants/yogas, and I kind of hover between a small and a medium in scrub sizes. Aka when I’m a hair on the fluffy side, one of the first ways I feel it is when I need to grab the medium scrub bottoms (not that there’s anything wrong with being a medium, I’m just healthier in a small). In other words, I literally danced around my house this morning when the smalls fit again! ..💥Upper Fix

Another AM workout in the books. Deadlifts: 1x5x135 1x5x245 2x5x360 3x3x390Cleans: 6x3x185DB Press: 4x8x60Rows 5x5x100My deadlift form is still trash. I did a 2 mile jog prior to lifting so my lower back felt like someone was hitting with repeatedly with a baseball bat. Def need to do some yoga after this.

So much has happen to this point. I have had my lows and my highs. I have seen my weight fall off and then a little pack back on. But over all I am happen I never gave up and kept with. This has truly be a life changer for me. I have lost 20lbs and I am now in a size pant that I haven’t been since high school!!! ..After giving birth to Ethan I thought the same stuff every momma thinks how am I going to lose this weight? How will I find myself again? I hid behind my boys and didn't want anyone taking pictures of me standing alone with Ethan or anything that showed my belly. I hated the picture like I'm sure every new momma does. ..Before I got pregnant with my 2nd child tying to lose the baby weight with my first meant I was going to the gym 5 times a week with my little guy just to go by a drive though (easy dinners) for chickfla to eat back all I worked so hard to sweat off. I wasn’t see any results I was just staying the same...But then I found my first accountability group and found home! ❤️ watching others momma doing the same thing saying the same things as me and having the same worries help me so much. ..I push play every day for 30 mins at home with my boys playing around me! I push myself harder each day. I get stronger each day! I am committed to making a difference in myself and for my family. I was able to stay accountable with my group and found a balance with food and working out with two boys! .There are days that I eat whatever comes in front of me😯😬. But I am human and I know if you don't give into a little of your cravings you will find yourself eating everything all the time. I live by the 80/20 rule and enjoy yummy shakes that give me all the benefits of salads and vitamins:) 😉.If your ready to join I'm inviting you to my next group that is all about beach body. I have a lot of work to do on my posture ☹️ Years of being hunched over for school and work created very strong/tight pecs and weak shoulders. Balance work is the most difficult for me which is probably why I’ve always shied away from yoga 🙏🏻 Not to mention it’s difficult to manage these long legs 🤣Today’s workout felt so good.
