That’s #myotherside. Here’s what I’m hoping to tell you from this, your excuses to not hit the gym aren’t valid if you’re citing the same as work/college. A lot of fitness enthusiasts like me balancing regular workouts at the same time. .But here’s what could be your takeaway from our lifestyle, it’s all about discipline and commitment. My day feels incomplete if I miss a day’s workout. Work is a part of my life, but the vessel I live in needs to be nourished every day. Here’s how I look at it. Food fuels your body, gives it energy. My workout strengthens it, makes it better. My workout is me spending around TWO HOURS which is JUST 8% of my day to help my body get stronger and function perfectly. When I travel, I find gyms in the cities I go to. No, money won’t be an issue here, go for gym having travel pass facility or most gyms give the first session for free as a trial. And there is no dearth of gyms. But what could be an issue here is your motivation. .The beginning is difficult. But set a challenge for yourself. Tell yourself, no matter what, you’re going to hit the gym for 21 days. Get your ass there. Even if it’s literally just for 10 minutes of cardio, do it. 21 days is how many days it takes for an activity to become a habit. GET habituated. It then grows to be a part of your lifestyle. Stop viewing fitness as a goal. It’s not. You don’t train to lose those 10 kilos or gain 5. Then your motivation ends the minute you hit this number. Then the excuses pile on again. You train because it’s good for you, because your body NEEDS it.
