Thoughts on how I strive for sustainability, and positive post competition body image -Again, this is personal and what works for me. Everyone is different :) #1. I take the appearance aspects out of my goals. Instead I aim my focus on how I want to feel. I want to feel strong. I want to feel energized. I want to feel empowered. Motivated. Like a total badass. Yes yes and yes! So I focus on lifting heavier, getting sweatier, I make the gym my stress relief. Of course I still have physical goals for when I step on stage again (shoulders and hamstrings 😏) but honestly that comes with time, lifting with purpose, lifting heavy, eating well, and taking care of myself.Of course not every day is perfect and I absolutely do struggle to accept my "lifestyle" body sometimes -but let's get real - I'd rather feel great, go out without always bringing a Tupperware full of tracked food, and build myself up through acceptance rather than filling myself with fear of not looking perfect. Self compassion is a word that I hope everyone is able to find for themselves. Every day I strive to treat myself with respect, compassion and it's then - and only then do I want truly want to be better for myself. If you're a competitor I guarantee building healthy habits is what is going to take you to a Pro level. I 100% believe that "offseason" should be about building your body by building a stronger mind. That way when prep time comes around you've got the foundation from hard work/consistency but most importantly you have the mindset of a warrior, too powerful to be anything but your best self year round 💪🏻

(In fact, it's important to train the pectoral muscles!). ⏩By building the pectoral muscles that lay under the breasts, it can help "prop" up the breasts more and give an appearance of more cleavage. ⏩If you are training your back, arms, and shoulders and neglecting the chest, you are building an imbalance in the upper body which can lead to injuries and poor posture. ⏩A bench press is a compound exercise which means you will be stimulating several other muscle groups besides the chest, raising the heart rate and burning more calories. Win-win. ⏩And while there are other great chest exercises like the push up or chest fly, these exercises do not challenge the pectorals like the bench press does. It is a good idea to mix it up. Chazinho ☕️ Você pode preparar um chá com vários ingredientes.Mas e se eu lhe dissesse que você poderia preparar o chá de um dos ingredientes facilmente disponíveis em seu jardim? ...sobre o que estou falando ? é o hibisco que pode crescer em abundância em seu jardim.O chá de hibisco tem sido muito estudado pois o seu consumo tem diversos benefícios para a saúde, como reduzir o risco de hipertensão, mesmo em pessoas saudáveis ​; possui propriedades anti-inflamatórias, diuréticas e antioxidantes; também tem sido indicado para pacientes com diabetes tipo II, ansiosos e depressivos. ☕️Essa receitinha ficou demais: 250mL de água quente, 1 colher de sopa de hibisco (flores), 6 unidades de Mirtilos (ou Blueberry), 2 flores de anis estrelado. Coloquei a água para aquecer juntamente com os Mirtilos, retirei do fogo antes de ferver, acrescentei os outros ingredientes e deixei em infusão (tampar) por 8 minutos. Pode consumir geladinho também 😋aproveita o fim de semana para experimentar ☺️
