Good morning and happy Thursday! It is my official first day off from work and uni since uni finished 🙌🏻 I have so many plan today to get creative in the kitchen and to go shopping for things I think I’ll need in Thailand. If anyone has been to Thailand, please let me know of fun activities and delicious places to eat 🙏🏻 To fuel my day, I’m starting my morning with 60g of oats mixed with 1 serving of @macr0mike PB2, 1 tbsp @absolute_organic cacao powder and 1 heaped tablespoon of @natvianaturalsweetener sugar. Then I topped my oats with some fruit and another drizzle of PB2. If you are looking to increase the volume of your oats, i soak my oats overnight in a jar in about 1.5 cups of @almondbreezeaus unsweetened vanilla almond milk (you can use water or whatever milk you like). Then in the morning when I wake up, I pour the oatmeal into a big bowl (must be big or it will overfill your bowl in your microwave) and pour in more almond milk until the oats are covered by about 1cm of milk. I microwave that for about 5 minutes, stir and then remicrowave it in 1 minute intervals until it gets thick. I find that using half rolled oats and half quick oats is perfect because the quick oats help your bowl get thick and creamy while the rolled oats still give it a bit more texture. Let me know how you like to make your oats in the morning below 😊 I would love to try out different ways! 💕

Many of you don't like the taste of the quinoa / say it's tasteless so here's one of the best quinoa recipes ✔👌💯 *****Creamy garlic mushrooms & spinach****** #quinoa: - Cook the quinoa:- wash it well- Put it in a cooking pot , add a very small piece of butter/oil , a tsp minced garlic , pepper , salt and water (for 1 cup of quinoa 2 cups of water). - prepare the veggies:- Chop mushrooms and spinach - Put the mushroom seasoned with all spices you want (i added salt, pepper, paprika) in a hot pan with 2 tsp minced garlic on medium heat. - Allow the mushrooms to cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked. - Add the spinach and 2 tbsp of coconut milk to the mushroom mixture and stir. Cover it and allow to cook for another 3 minutes until spinach becomes wilted. It is not an average recipe book (actually you won't find recipes here). It has everything I love: scientific approach, experiments and it teaches you how track the results and analyze them! Yes, after each chapter there are a lot of practice-oriented questionnaires which make you actually use the information you just received. And - what I love the most, it motivates you to TRY different ways of baking and then write down what methodology worked better, on your opinion.➰🇷🇺В так называемый отпуск (это когда работать надо чуть меньше чем обычно - и в другой локации) я с собой взяла эту книгу, и хотя я слышала про неё много хорошего, она превзошла все ожидания. Octopus "a la gallega" 🐙 (Spanish dish🇪🇦) ⚠️Advice: when buying the octopus, ask your fishmonger to clean the octopus for you or buy a pre-clean one, this means that it is without guts, eyes, and beak (unless it is among your "bucket list " to have the not very pleasant experience of cleaning an octopus) you will thank me later!😏 1. Freeze the octopus for at least 48 hours. If you buy the octopus already frozen, skip this step.2. Unfreeze the octopus in the fridge3. In a large pot boil water with bay leaves, pepper (grain) and a little sea salt.4. It's time to "scare" 😨😂 the octopus. When the water is boiling plunge the octopus for 5 seconds and remove it immediately. Wait for the water to boil again and repeat the procedure 3 more times.5. Then let it cook for 30-45 minutes over medium heat. If the octopus weighs more than 1.5 kg (3.3 pounds) cook it for 10 more minutes. Remove the octopus from the water.6. In the same water where the octopus was cooked, cook the potatoes (do not peel them) , for 20 minutes or until they are cooked. Remove from the water and peel them7. Cut the octopus and potatoes and place them on a board or plate. First the potatoes and on top the octopus. To finish add olive oil, paprika, pepper and sea salt.
