Walking into Monday like - I got this! Thank you to the amazing @tristanmanas for the stage photos. It was beautiful to go through all the amazing images of the competitors on stage. As competitors, we are our toughest critics. We spend months, even years preparing for a show and of corse, hope that our hard work is rewarded with a placing. The reality is, there is only one first place, regardless of our result, there are so many personal wins we can each take away from competing, we should be so proud for stepping up on that stage and over coming all the hurdles and challenges that life throws our way. 🌟

I can’t squat anywhere near what I used to. Shit I can’t perform a lot of lifts as he as I used to. ..It’s beyond frustrating as I often get caught up comparing myself to when I could lift a lot heavier. ..But, then when my lift is over, I’m pain free and I know what I just did was effective I just don’t care about what “I used to do” ..Because I used to be hurt, I used to be in pain, I used to have shit form and I used to think I knew everything. ..I learned from all the bullshit and I’ve implemented what I’ve learned. I’m constantly learning, finding better ways and there’s still failures ahead and lessons to be learned. As a result I’m a better trainer, a better friend, and a better person because I apply this to all aspects of my life. ..Stop looking behind you and keep moving forward, everyday is different and we are different everyday.
